The six regional corporations have recently held ballots to elect their first member elected boards. The successful candidates will begin their terms at the end of their corporation’s upcoming general meeting.

The State of WA today made the second of 12 annual payments into the Noongar Boodja Trust.

Due to insufficient eligible male candidates to meet the minimum 3 members required to convene the CACs, the directors of the Gnaala Karla Booja, Karri Karrak and Yued Aboriginal Corporations are calling for additional nominations. This additional round of nominations will close next Tuesday, 19 April.

The first round of membership applications for Karri Karrak Aboriginal Corporation have now been processed, and nominations will open for the board of directors and cultural advice committee.
