The Yamatji Southern Regional Corporation is seeking a Heritage Manager.
The Heritage Manager is responsible for the management, preservation, and protection of cultural heritage assets within the community, ensuring that heritage values are protected and integrated into planning, development, and community engagement initiatives. The role also oversees a multidisciplinary team and will work closely with other internal teams, government agencies, community stakeholders, and heritage professionals to uphold best practices in heritage conservation and interpretation.
The role is accountable for the implementation of Heritage compliance systems and other supporting systems and processes to manage compliance against the Yamatji Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA), ensuring it satisfies all land related obligations and any service delivery expectations and supports the Traditional Owner care of country.
It’s a full-time role based in Perth. The annual salary range is $120,000 to $130,000.
