The Western Australia Police Force is recruiting for an Aboriginal Engagement Leader.
The Aboriginal Engagement Leader will be a strong communicator who listens with respect and speaks with authenticity, demonstrating experience working with Aboriginal people and communities with an understanding of the importance in building trust and relationships within the workplace.
Work closely with stakeholders within the agency to build strong collaboration and working relationships. You will promote awareness and understanding of Aboriginal culture and strategies to ensure culturally safe practices are embedded throughout the agency to make a positive difference.
It’s a full-time role based in Perth, offered as a 12 month contract. The annual salary range is $120,457 to $132,753.
Aboriginality is essential as a genuine occupational qualification within the meaning of Section 50D of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984.
