The University of Notre Dame Australia is recruiting an Indigenous Student Support Officer (50D Identified).
The Indigenous Student Support Officer provides culturally safe, student-centred support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, enhancing their academic retention and successful graduation outcomes. Working closely with academic staff, professional teams, and external stakeholders, the role ensures timely delivery of support services and promotes a culturally inclusive university environment.
The position is also responsible for administering student support initiatives, responding to student queries, mentoring students, and assisting with scholarship and grant eligibility assessments, all grounded in respectful engagement and cultural knowledge.
This is a full-time, continuing position based at the Fremantle campus. The annual salary is $77,437 (Level 5) plus superannuation.
