DYHS: Suicide Prevention and Aftercare Worker

The Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service Aboriginal Corporation (DYHS) is recruiting for a Suicide Prevention and Aftercare Worker (50D).

The Aftercare Case Worker is a new position under the national Culture Care Connect (CCC) program that brings together key streams of suicide prevention planning, coordination and activity across the Perth network including raising awareness, early intervention, crisis management and aftercare services.

The position is integral to the development of a suicide prevention and response model of care – collectively, working to improve Aboriginal mental health and suicide prevention outcomes by providing culturally appropriate aftercare service and support.

It’s a full time contract role based in East Perth, with the possibility of extension. The annual salary range is $96,181 to $101,837 plus superannuation.
