The Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport (CITS) is recruiting for two roles at Aboriginal History Western Australia (AHWA).
Manager Research Stolen Generations Redress
Lead and manage the Aboriginal History Research Services (AHRS) team to ensure the achievement of agreed outcomes. Build and sustain strong working relationships with the Aboriginal community and key stakeholders in the development and implementation of AHWA policies, procedures and services.
Coordinator Aboriginal History Research Services
Plan and coordinate AHRS responses to family history, Redress and all other requests received by the Unit and ensure that outgoing responses are accurate and comply with AHRS policy, and relevant legislation. The position also supervises the AHRS research team, works with staff to identify development areas, and co-ordinates the delivery of in-house training programs.
