The Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service (DYHS) is recruiting for the following roles:


General Practitioner

As a General Practitioner at DYHS, you’ll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, culturally appropriate primary care. Your work will include general practice, health promotion, chronic disease management, and contributing to continuous quality improvement.

It’s a full time or part time role, based in East Perth. The annual salary is $238,000 plus superannuation and Medicare incentives.

Aboriginal Health Practitioner

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide Primary Health Care for Aboriginal individuals, families and community groups. Aboriginal Health Practitioner within Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service assists in arranging and coordinating health care plans for clients.

This role is based in East Perth. It’s a contract role for maximum term of 1 year from start date (with possibility of extension and/or permanency). The annual salary range is $80,000 to $83,020 plus superannuation.

The successful applicant must be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.

Recall Officer

This position is responsible for coordinating and timely managing recalls and reminders for clients.

It’s a full time role based in East Perth. The annual salary range is $80,000 to $83,020 plus superannuation.

Counsellor

This role will be responsible to provide crisis support and counselling to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and families affected by crisis situations and/or require counselling support for general mental and emotional well-being.

The Counsellor will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

This role is based in East Perth. It’s a contract role for maximum term part-time expiring 30 June 2027, with possibility of extension.
