Cyrenian House is seeking an Aboriginal Support Worker.
The Aboriginal Support Worker will provide yarning, mentoring, interactive therapeutic activities, education, mediation, and support to residents in a residential setting.
This role develops relationships with Aboriginal communities in the Great Southern and South-West regions, and promotes Cyrenian services and develop Elder groups who can advise and support the programs offered by Cyrenian House.
It’s a full time role based in Nannup. The annual salary range is $93,490 to $110,413.
Being Aboriginal or a Torres Strait Islander is a genuine occupational requirement for this position under section 50d of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA).
