WA Parks and Wildlife Service and the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions has opened applications for Round 9 of the WA Aboriginal Ranger Program.
The program provides funding to Aboriginal organisations leading ranger programs through the allocation of competitive grants.
The program helps Aboriginal organisations keep Country and people healthy, and creates broader community outcomes by providing funding for employment, training, planning, equipment and other cultural and social expenses according to local priorities and aspirations.
Round 9 is wholly funded by the State Government’s Royalties for Regions and does not have a funding component for activities occurring in the Perth metropolitan region.
Applications close 9 March 2026.
