The Western Australian Stolen Generations Redress Scheme is open for applications.
Aboriginal people who were removed as children from their families in Western Australia prior to 1 July 1972 can receive individual payments of $85,000 in recognition of the harm and trauma experienced.
You can also apply on behalf of a family member who passed away on or after 27 May 2025, when the Scheme was announced.
