Water Corporation: Two vacancies

The Water Corporation is recruiting for the following roles:

  • Head of Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title

  • Aboriginal Community Engagement Specialist

These positions are pursuant of Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, the occupants must be of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.

Head of Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title

This key member of the leadership team will provide strategic guidance to operational and asset teams, as well as the Executive, on matters related to Aboriginal Heritage and Native Title. The role involves building relationships providing strategic advice and guidance with the community, Traditional Owners, and Aboriginal corporations. Advocate for the Corporation's interests and oversee risk management for delivery programs.

It’s a full time role based in Leederville.

Aboriginal Community Engagement Specialist

Partner with the business to strengthen Aboriginal community engagement and advocacy amongst internal and external stakeholders to maintain and enhance our reputation and support the delivery of infrastructure projects and programs of work within the Aboriginal Communities Water Services (ACWS) program.

It’s a full time role based in Osborne Park. The annual salary is $135,693 plus superannuation.
