WACHS: Senior Aboriginal Workforce Consultant

The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is recruiting for a Senior Aboriginal Workforce Consultant.

The Senior Aboriginal Workforce Consultant:

  • Provides leadership and supports to the development, implementation and evaluation of WACHS-wide Aboriginal workforce initiatives that demonstrate and support the organisation’s commitment to attract, recruit, grow, develop and retain our Aboriginal workforce in order to improve the health outcomes of Aboriginal people.

  • Works with the regions, the Country Health Aboriginal Workforce Committee (CHAWC) and otherstakeholders across WACHS and externally to ensure that the organisation’s various workforce commitments related to Aboriginal Workforce matters are successfully implemented.

  • Ensures that WACHS strategy, direction, policies and programs are designed and implemented with attraction, engagement, development and retention of our Aboriginal workforce in mind.

It’s a pemanent full time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight, based in the Perth metropolitan area. The annual salary range is HSO Level 8 $135,972 to $140,644.
