The University of Western Australia (UWA) is recruiting for an Indigenous Community Engagement Officer.
The Indigenous Community Engagement Officer will:
Coordinate and contribute to Aboriginal community engagement, building strong relationships with local health providers, community groups, and stakeholders to support the UWA medical program.
Raise awareness of the medical program through information sessions, facilitate and support Aboriginal Elders and community members in their contributions to teaching and learning development.
Conduct feedback activities to ensure ongoing representation, contribute to accreditation through reporting on engagement efforts, and perform other duties and training as required.
It’s a part time role based in Booloo/Perth, and the annual salary range is $95,231 to $100,643 pro-rata plus superannuation.
Confirmation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage will be required for the successful applicant prior to appointment.
