UWA: Indigenous Community Engagement Officer

The University of Western Australia (UWA) is recruiting for an Indigenous Community Engagement Officer.

The Indigenous Community Engagement Officer will:

  • Coordinate and contribute to Aboriginal community engagement, building strong relationships with local health providers, community groups, and stakeholders to support the UWA medical program.

  • Raise awareness of the medical program through information sessions, facilitate and support Aboriginal Elders and community members in their contributions to teaching and learning development.

  • Conduct feedback activities to ensure ongoing representation, contribute to accreditation through reporting on engagement efforts, and perform other duties and training as required.

It’s a part time role based in Booloo/Perth, and the annual salary range is $95,231 to $100,643 pro-rata plus superannuation.

Confirmation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage will be required for the successful applicant prior to appointment.
