The South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS) is recruiting for a Female Peer Support Worker (50D).
The SWAMS Mental Health team places a strong focus on a person-centered approach and a collaborative working culture to achieve the best possible outcomes for mob. They are seeking a passionate Aboriginal Peer Support Worker to join the Social Services Team.
The role of Peer Support Worker is to support peers to achieve a satisfactory and meaningful lifestyle through facilitating group activities and other key responsibilities.
Under Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act, this position is only open to candidates with Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
