Relationships Australia Western Australia is recruiting for Aboriginal Community Engagement Officer/Case Worker (50d).
This position is responsible for engaging with the local Aboriginal community, coordinating / attending community events and programs that raise awareness of support services available, and providing appropriate case work support as required.
Under section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification for this position. Applicants must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, identify as such, and be recognised by the community.
It’s a permanent part time role (two days per week). The annual salary range is $76,000 to $85,000 pro rata plus superannuation and salary packaging.
