The City of Melville is recruiting for a First Nations Community Development Officer.
The First Nations Community Development Officer will play a pivotal role in building relationships and creating opportunities for the First Nations community.
Identify and develop key relationships, partnerships, and collaborations that promote reconciliation within the City and the broader community, ensuring the First Nations community is represented first in all engagement processes.
It’s a fixed term part time role, based in Willagee. The annual salary range is $87,078.07 to $92,331.33 pro-rata plus superannuation.
Being an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander is a genuine occupational requirement for this position under Section 50D Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA).
