Aboriginal Development Manager
The Aboriginal Development Manager will lead and evaluate a successful research career pathway and support program for Aboriginal students and staff in the Wesfarmers Centre of Vaccines & Infectious Diseases (WCVID).
In addition, this position will support researchers to ensure research projects are culturally safe, strengths-based, and compliant with ethical standards by providing practical advice.

Manager, Aboriginal Research Support
The Manager, Aboriginal Research Support works closely with the Head, Kulunga to deliver key priorities outlined in the Institute’s Research Reimagined Strategic Plan and the Aboriginal Employment Career Development Strategy (AECDS).
In consultation with the Head, the role leads Aboriginal researcher support across the research cycle, including ethics, governance and grants; delivers Aboriginal Standards training with a focus on embedding Indigenous Data Sovereignty; partners with Communications teams to apply a cultural and community lens to media and publications and to recognise significant Aboriginal calendar dates; and co-leads the implementation of the AECDS. The role also builds and maintains strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support effective engagement with researchers, participants and community members.
In addition, this position will support researchers to ensure research projects are culturally safe, strengths-based, and compliant with ethical standards by providing practical advice.

Aboriginal Project Coordinator
The Aboriginal Project Coordinator supports the development and coordination of the Aboriginal Student Leaders Program in line with the Aboriginal Employment Career Development Strategy.
Working closely with the Manager, Capacity and Capability, the role delivers student engagement activities, promotes career pathways, and builds strong relationships across the Institute, universities and key stakeholders.
