Education: Aboriginal Student Support Officer

Eaton Community College is recruiting for an Aboriginal Student Support Officer

The Aboriginal Student Support Officer will enhance the wellbeing, engagement, and success of Aboriginal students. Proactively work closely with school staff, families, and external agencies to deliver effective support strategies and culturally appropriate interventions that strengthen connections between students, their families, the school, and the wider community.

Contribute to case management, provide social and emotional support, and assist in crisis response, helping to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment. As part of the Student Services team, encourage and support students to engage meaningfully in their education and achieve their personal goals, while also supporting staff to create and maintain safe and inclusive learning environments.

It’s a permanent full time position commencing in Term 2, 2026. The role is based in Eaton and the annual salary range is $81,448 to $87,376 pro rata.

Being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background is considered essential for this position under section 50(d) of the Western Australian Equal Opportunity Act.
