The Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage has the following vacancies:

  • Senior Heritage Officer (s51)

  • Heritage Officer (s51)

Senior Heritage Officer

The Senior Heritage Officer leads complex heritage projects, engages with stakeholders and communities, and promotes regulatory compliance and education on cultural heritage values. The role also supports decision-making and represents the Department at external forums.

It’s a full-time role based in the Perth CBD with potential regional opportunities, with an annual salary of $105,167 to $114,938 plus superannuation.

Heritage Officer

The Heritage Officer supports the protection and management of Aboriginal cultural heritage across Western Australia. The role involves analysing heritage information, providing advice to stakeholders, and ensuring legislative compliance to achieve positive heritage outcomes.

It’s a full-time role based in the Perth CBD with potential regional opportunities, with an annual salary of $95,782 to $100,526 plus superannuation.
