The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) Regional and Fire Management Services Division is recruiting for a Trainee Ranger Pool.
With a supervisor, Trainee Rangers will do a range of work looking after parks and reserves on Noongar country including animal and plant protection, management of cultural values, construction and maintenance of park buildings and picnic areas, fencing, fire-fighting and control and support of tourism and recreation activities.
Successful applicants will be given the opportunity to undertake qualifications that will contribute towards a Certificate II or higher in Conservation and Ecosystem Management.
This recruitment pool will remain open for 12 months to fill vacancies based in Bunbury, Collie, Harvey, Busselton, Margaret River, or Nannup.
The annual salary range is $54,710 to $60,541 plus superannuation.
