DBCA: South West Native Title roles

The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) Parks and Visitors Services Division is recruiting for the following roles:

Coordinator, South West Native Title Settlement Management Planning

Reporting to the Manager, Statutory Planning and Lands Branch (SPLB), the role is to provide management and leadership to implement timely and effective management plans in line with Departmental priorities and commitments, with a focus on the SWNTS area.

This role will play a critical role in supporting and mentoring staff to implement and deliver the Department’s Framework for Statutory Management Plans, planning commitments under the SWNTS and supporting relationships with the Department’s joint management partners.

This is a 60-month fixed-term full time position with the possibility of extension or permanency, based in Kensington.

The annual salary range is Level 7 $139,860 to $149,485 plus superannuation.

Senior South West Native Title Officer (Planning) x 3

Under limited direction from Coordinator SWNTS Planning, this role is responsible for the preparation and review of joint management plans in partnership with Traditional Owners, prepared under the Conservation and Land Management Act 1984 to enable formal joint management in the South West Native Title Settlement (SWNTS) area.

These roles are 60-month fixed-term full time positions with the possibility of extension or permanency, based in Kensington.

The annual salary range is Level 6 $120,457 to $132,753 plus superannuation.
