CAHS: Senior Aboriginal Health Practitioner

Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is recruiting for a Senior Aboriginal Health Practitioner (50D).

The Senior Aboriginal Health Practitioner will join the Healthy Lifestyle Program. Provide a culturally safe, holistic clinical care, health education, and promotion to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people, working collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure health equity. Key responsibilities include providing cultural safety, acting as a cultural advisor, conducting health assessments, developing health strategies, and promoting community health and wellbeing.   

It’s a fixed-term, part-time appointment until 31 December 2025 (60.8hrs fortnight), with the possibility of extensions and/or permanency.

Aboriginality is a genuine occupational requirement of this position under section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 in Western Australia.
