Serco is seeking a casual Aboriginal Language Teacher within their Rehabilitation and Reintigration Team at Wooroloo Prison Farm.
The Aboriginal Language Teacher will make a positive impact by:
Facilitating language experiences in a culturally sensitive way to enhance the well-being of students.
Delivering scheduled training and education in accordance with the prison’s core day.
Designing, planning, delivering, and evaluating education programs for prisoners.
Managing the administrative functions and requirements of the role in a timely and accurate manner.
Actively participating in operational meetings, including Education and RTO meetings.
Developing, updating, and managing student education resources within relevant security requirements of the center.
The remuneration for this role is $60 per hour plus free lunches.
