Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students can access a range of free training courses that include industry work placement.
The free Job Ready pathways to employment programs include training courses with connections to an apprenticeship, traineeship, or further training and employment.
There are currently 130 free courses available through the Job Ready program with job categories including early childhood education, driller’s offsider, cheffing, ageing and disability care, bricklaying, and infrastructure.
The new Digital Workplace course aims to develop confidence for students entering business support roles by equipping them to organise data and records, produce documents, and use different software applications. It can also involve work placement with a trainee opportunity upon completion.
