Regional Economic Development Grants

Round 7 of the Regional Economic Development (RED) Grants program are open with a funding pool of $10 million available for projects supporting our regional areas.

Throughout previous rounds of the RED Grants Program, more than $36 million has been allocated towards 355 approved projects across the nine regions.

The successful initiatives include industry development/expansion, aboriginal industry development, agricultural diversification, and tourism expansion.

Each of the nine Regional Development Commissions (RDC) manage the grant round process for their region and will provide advice to applicants during the application process.

The nine regions are Gascoyne, Goldfields-Esperance, Great Southern, Kimberley, Mid West, Peel, Pilbara, South West, and Wheatbelt.

Applications for Round 7 close on 26 June 2024.
