Applications are open for the Department of Justice Aboriginal Traineeship Program.
Aboriginal traineees learn and develop a range of public administration skills that support a business area. Duties include a range of computer-based activities and tasks such as customer service, data entry, file management, record keeping, word processing, and utlising departmental systems.
Trainees are also given academic support and guidance to complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Government.
Positions are available in Perth metropolitan and regional areas, with an annual salary range between $35,129 to $60,190 plus 11.5% superannuation.
Section 51 of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 has been applied to these positions, as such these positions are restricted to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
