Caring for Country - Natural Resource ManagementWhat is Caring for Country? Caring for Country is a wholistic approach to natural resource management and continues the Noongar peoples’ connection with their land. This includes looking after and monitoring the rivers and wetlands, and natural bushland in Noongar Country. It is people working together to protect and conserve the land for the future, and skills and knowledge building and sharing for both employment and personal learning. The Natural Resource Management team at SWALSC is responsible for several projects. The South West Aboriginal Land and Sea Council receives support from the Northern Agricultural Catchments Council for the NRM projects. |
